Description: This beautiful cello by Eric Benning from 2004 which has recently come in for sale from a retired professional cellist. This cello was used professionally for the last 14 years and has developed a beautiful, mature tone. Rich and clear with excellent power and projection. This is a Stradivari model with a gorgeous two-piece Bosnian maple back. The top was fashioned from two-piece Northern-Italian spruce with intense hazel-spruce markings. The varnish is a non-antiqued, vibrant red-orange color on a golden ground. Back length: 75.4cm.
