Description: Marcel Lapierre was born in 1907, died 1979 in Mirecourt France. Bow maker. Apprenticed with J. Thibouville-Lamy 1921-1923. Worked for Brouillier & Lotte c.1926, for F. Lotte 1931-1936, subsequently employed by L. Bazin, Morizot Frères, and briefly E. A. Ouchard 1946. In 1947 he worked for Vidoudez in Geneva, and finally established himself independently in Mirecourt 1948.

The octagonal stick is made of light brown pernambuco. The frog is made of ebony with silver mountings and inlaid pearl eyes encircled by a silver ring on each side. The button is made of ebony with a full silver cap. Weight: 72.3 grams. Certified by Jean-Jacques Raffin.
