Description: Born in Czechoslovakia, Peter Mach quickly found a passion for making wooden instruments. He immigrated to Canada in 1969 where he studied violin and bow making under Joseph Kun. In 1976, he enrolled in the international school of violin-making in Cremona, Italy. After graduating in 1980, he opened his own shop in Aylmer, Quebec, where he continues making and repairing string instruments and bows. Peter Mach is also the inventor and maker of the Mach One Shoulder Rests.
This particular viola is in excellent condition and produces a rich, powerful tone. Back Length: 40.8 cm. String Length: 36.7 cm.
