Description: Son of Gaetano Gadda, Mario Gadda was born in 1931 in Mantua, Italy. Pupil of his father, Mario Gadda was taught in the style of the great Italian makers. Known for his vibrant copies of Balestrieri and Scarampella, his instruments are now played worldwide. This particular violin is a fine example of Gadda’s work. Beautiful wood selection and equipped with the distinct tone of a modern Italian instrument. Back length: 35.6 cm.
