After graduation he worked in Paris with Pierre Barthel and Guy Coquoz and in New York with Bruce Dupin de Saint-Cyr. From 1998 to 2005 Le Cointe worked with Mathijs Heyligers in Cremona, Italy. Le Cointe estabished his own workshop in 2005 where he mainly makes new instruments, inspired by the great Cremonese School of the classical period. This particular violin is in pristine condition. Beautiful craftsmanship, excellent wood selection and finished in an attractive red spirit varnish. Rich, powerful tone, highly sought after by musicians.
