Description: Albert Caressa began his apprenticeship at the Gand & Bernard firm in Paris, France. In 1901, Caressa partnered with Henri Francais and together began the firm of Caressa & Francais until 1920. Caressa continued crafting fine instruments until his retirement in 1938.
This particular violin is in near mint condition and displays Caressa’s finest work. It produces an evenly bright, powerful tone across the strings.
