Description: A very fine violin certified by Kenneth Warren & Son, LTD. to be made in Bologna by an unknown maker in 1925. This is an excellent opportunity to buy a very fine Italian violin for a great price. Kenneth Warren gives a description of the violin; “The back is formed of two pieces of maple, quarter cut, holding narrow to medium flames running very slightly downward from the center joint. The ribs and scroll are of matching wood selection to that of the back. The top is of spruce, two pieces, mostly fine grain throughout. The varnish is medium golden brown color.” This violin produces a dark, projecting tone. Back Length: 13 5/16in 35.4cm.
