Description: Roger François Lotte began making bows alongside his father François around 1936. He initially adopted his father's elegant and traditional style. Lotte remained prolific after his father's death in 1970 and supplied bows to many firms in Paris and Mirecourt. He died in 1989. He made bows for: George Deblaye, Dupuy, Léon Mougenot, Étienne Vatelot, Roger & Max Millant and Bernard Millant amongst others.
This cello bow has a beautifully strong stick. Well balanced to draw a deep, textured tone with strength for the full length of the bow. Weight: 78.5 grams. Certified by Isaac Salchow.
