Description: This is the latest cello by Eric Benning made on the classic model by Matteo Goffriller. This cello has an unparalleled, one-piece, quarter-cut, Bosnian maple back from the 1960’s. The top was fashioned from Northern-Italian spruce which the family acquired in the 1950’s.
Gorgeous flames in the back and strong hazel-spruce markings on the top make this one of Eric’s most visually stunning instruments to date. The Goffriller model gives this cello a dark, powerful tone. Very easy to speak and depths of color are available. Back length: 76.1 cm.
