Description: Guy Cole began his studies in 1980 under René Morel at the Manhattan School of Music. Shortly after, he enrolled at the Violin Making School of America in Utah. Guy Cole graduated in 1985 and was employed by the workshop of William L. Monical in New York. He has received various medals from the International Society of Bassists, and other awards for tone and workmanship.

Modeled in the manner of David Tecchler, the cello specialist and renowned Roman master maker of the late 17th-18th century, this cello is an original Tecchler design.
