Description: A gorgeous viola bow made in the workshop of Nicolas Rémy Maire in Mirecourt, France circa 1840. An octagonal stick of dark-brown snakewood and mounted in ebony and nickel. The bow has been recently certified by Isaac Salchow as Maire workshop but was also certified by Jean-Francois Raffin as Peccatte school from the same time period. This is a fantastic opportunity to buy an incredible French bow at a discounted price.
