Description: This gorgeous viola was made by Hans and Nancy Benning in 1978. The viola was patterned after the “Tertis” model and features a two-piece back with deep, wide flames. The top is fashioned from fine, even grained spruce and covered in a full, red-brown varnish over a golden ground. The sound is deep and resonant with a powerful projection.
