Carl finished his apprenticeship and spent his years as a journeyman at his father's workshop. Carl Albert Nürnberger carried on the workshop to a worldwide leader in bow making in the 1920's. Many famous artists numbered among his clientele. Almost no other Bow Maker worked in such a precise and continuous manner.
This bow is an excellent example of Carl’s personal work. Near mint condition with original lapping and faceplate. This bow plays beautifully. It feels light and responsive but it has a strong stick for digging into the string. Weight: 55.0 grams. Certified by Isaac Salchow.
