Description: Born from 1899 to 1912, the five Morizot brothers crafted bows collaboratively in the manner of their father, Joseph Morizot. Each of the brothers carved their own niche in the workshop and established one of the greatest family firms in French bow making history. Praised for superior craftsmanship and eye for detail, their bows are now recognized on the international scale. This particular bow in excellent condition. The round stick is mounted with silver and ebony. The frog has a mother-of-pearl eye encircled by a silver ring in each side. It produces a powerful, clear tone with superb balance. This bow was made by for the Bisch firm in Paris and carries the brand stamp accordingly.
