Description: Franciscus Marie Pupunatus began his woodworking career as a cabinet maker in Switzerland. He later began crafting instruments in the town of Lausanne and quickly became one of the best makers in his area. He made 300 violins, 25 cellos, and 20 violas throughout his career which ended in 1868.
This particular violin was made during his best time period, and is a superb example of Pupunatus’ finest work. It is in excellent condition at this time. Back Length: 35.6 cm
