Description: George Wulme Hudson was born in in 1882 and became one of England’s most versatile and talented makers. Though his violin making career began late, Hudson became a quite prolific maker and produced over 800 instruments in his time. Hudson became known as one of the world’s finest copyists of the great Italian makers, Stradivari, Bergonzi, and Guarneri.
This particular example is a beautiful Stradivari model. The sound is rich and powerful. Back length: 35.5 cm.
