Description: Léon Bernardel was born in 1853 in Paris, France. He studied violin making under his father Ernest Auguste Bernardel. He worked with Derazey before joining his family’s shop at “Gand et Bernardel Frères. Léon finally established his own firm in 1899 and worked with his son Léon (II).
This particular violin is in excellent condition and produces a warm, clear and powerful tone. Back Length: 35.7 cm.
